Jay-Z Pulls American Gangster Off of Itunes

It appears Jay is serious about “American Gangster” being a concept album. He claims he doesn’t want the public to be able to purchase songs individually because the music an his ideas won’t translate as well. Let’s see how many he sells without the world’s leading digital distributer.

    i think its good that he took it off of itunes. at first i was dissapointed because i was waiting a long time for the album to come out, but once i bought the entire thing on rocafella.com i understood y he did it. the album in its entirety tells a story. and just choosing certain songs would not tell the same story.
