Lil Eazy E Calls out Lil Wayne and Baby!

November 17, 2007

For More info click here

“First of all, let me start off by saying much love to all my Crips, Pirus and Bloods out there that have lived and shed blood for what they believe in and represent; but all this extra fake gangbanging going on is really getting out of hand. I’m seeing this nigga Baby on 3 songs Blooding and Li Wayne ‘soowooping’ at the awards. Enough is enough. This don’t have nothing to do with them Blooding; if they was Cripping I would have the same reaction,” Lil Eazy-E said via a statement to DubCNN.“Those of us that are true to this need to stand up and say enough is enough. I got homies who are in jail, fighting for their lives and homes who are RIP behind this thang. And for those fools who are clowning and making a mockery of us; I’m telling you no more … This is part of the problem as to why the West is not winning right now. These niggas have taken our style and way of life and are destroying it. Well I have had enough. For every action there is a reaction.”

I read up on Lil Eazy E and have decided that he is the real deal. He is the oldest of Eazy E’s sons and grew up in the same exact house as his father. I have been spinning his song “I’m From Compton” all month.I hope someone records a song about this. This could be fun.Lil Eazy E – I’m From Compton (Previous Posting)Update: Lil Eazy E says there is no “Beef” with Weezy

“It’s not a beef so everyone can calm down with that. I’m stating facts and if you don’t understand that then the message wasn’t meant for you. I’m talking strictly to people who are cut from the same cloth as me I can’t beef with someone who does not have the proper knowledge on this particular subject I’m speaking on. They don’t no dip shit ’bout banging so there for this is no beef. I am talking to my people; opening our eyes to not get fooled by what you see on TV and here on wax that’s all,” Lil Eazy-E says via a statement to DubCNN.

Sounds Righteous.  I hope his album brings the West some of its clout back…

Rah Digga Says No Reunion – The Flipmode Saga Continues

November 16, 2007

As predicted, this story isn’t over. After Rampage’s ridiculous rants this week another, more sane, Flipmode member shed some light on the situation.

“I left Flipmode almost a year ago so that whole story is ridiculous,” Rah Digga told “I would consider doing another squad album for the right price, because I still got love for my dudes and we made some hot records together…”

“…It’s definitely not in my immediate future and it definitely won’t be called The Famous Millionaires.”

…and I thought I was the only person who thought that name sucked.

Rampage Recants – Flipmode is still the squad?

November 15, 2007

So I didn’t get the press release cause I’m not in “the loop” quite yet but Miss Info did and after reading it I felt compelled to follow up on this ridiculous story.  First, if you need to catch up on the beginning of the story check this post.

Wu Tang to Unleash Lost Track “16th Chamber”

November 14, 2007

Rumor has it a long lost track from 36 Chambers will be added as the bonus track for the upcoming LP 8 Diagrams. Also, the track listing for 8 Diagrams has changed since Ghostface and Raekwon have stirred things up with their internet rants. Very interesting.

Bonus: 8 Diagrams (full album)

Flip Mode Squad Parts Ways with Busta Rhymes and Changes Name of Group

November 13, 2007

In an exclusive interview with Rampage had this to say about the current status of the Flipmode Squad:

“Rah Digga, Baby Sham, Spliff Starr, and myself. We just changed the name of the group and it’s now called FMS” says Rampage.

“Nah, we just decided to do our own thing…It’s not under Flipmode anymore. It’s under FMS, just me, Sham, Digga, and Starr and FMS stands for Famous Millionaire Squad.”

I think its interesting they are still keeping the initals from Flip Mode Squad but are changing the name to Famous Millionaire Squad. That name is kind of wack. I do think Rah Digga is the illest female MC out (since Lauryn doesn’t rhyme much anymore) and I do love Flipmode’s music.

Bumpy Johnson’s Widow calls Frank Lucas a Liar and Prepares to Release a New Book

November 13, 2007

More Info Here

“Frank wasn’t nothing but a flunky, and one that Bumpy never did really trust,” Johnson said. “Bumpy would let Frank drive him around, but you’d better believe that he was never in any important meetings or anything. He would say, you can trust a thief quicker than a liar, because a thief steals money because he needs money, but a liar lies for the hell of it!””Junie Byrd’s gone, Nat Pettigrew’s gone, Sonny Chance is gone, and Finley Hoskin’s gone. Frank would never have said any garbage like that if one of them were alive, because he’d know they’d come after him,” said Johnson. “I bet he thought I was gone, too, but I’m not. I’m 93, and I don’t have Alzheimer’s or dementia…Frank Lucas is a damn liar and I want the world to know it.”~Mayme Johnson

Harlem Godfather: The Rap on My Husband, Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson is scheduled to hit stores in February 2008. For more information check out

Frank Lucas has ill words for Jay-Z

November 9, 2007

It seems like Frank Lucas is really living it up these days. A new interview with him is aired or published every day. In the most recent interview with Frank Lucas had some very stern words for Jay-Z: Jay-Z recently recorded an album inspired by the movie. He had a line on his song “No Hook” that was talking about you. I’m sure you heard it.

Frank Lucas: No, I haven’t. I don’t listen to Mr. Jay-Z’s music, but please tell me what it is. He says, “I’m more Frank Lucas than Ludacris” and Ludacris is a rapper. Then he says, “Frank Lucas is cool, but I ain’t trying to snitch.” Now, I know that you on record have addressed that situation, but…

Frank Lucas: Tell that young man to watch his mouth. Please watch his mouth. Tell that young man to please watch his mouth. Mr. Jay-Z, tell him to please watch his mouth.

Wow four “Watch his mouths”. Thems fightin words…

We will see if anyone asks Jay-Z about Mr. Lucas’ comments.

Rza Responds to Raekwon’s Comments about Wu Tang Beef

November 9, 2007

For More Info click here In an interview I posted yesterday with Miss Info of Hot 97, Raekwon expressed a lot of distaste with the Rza and his handling of the new Wu Tang LP “8 Diagrams” and his handling of the other group members. Well the Rza responded yesterday in a talk with

“My idea with this album was to have an hour of your day be different — you go into this other world of beats, hardcore lyrics and imagery of hip-hop,” he said. “I wanted the listener to be stimulated by the music. I don’t know if everybody agreed with it. Everybody has their own opinion. This is in my vision at the end of the day.”

This one is far from over folks. For the sake of everything that is hoy in Hip Hop lets hope they work this one out.Bonus: 8 Diagrams (full album)

Wu Tang Clan in Peril!

November 8, 2007

“I’m not gonna drown in the water when I know the boat is about to sink”

“He’s on some shit like ‘yo this is the new sound trust me’… we’re not coming out of the studio happy… its more like I don’t wanna be here doing this cause this is not the vibe I want… he’s like the hip hop hippie… [we like] you’ve been outvoted… ”

“You don’t rob your friends… you might as well be pimpin’ me”

Well it’s more like the Rza’s future with the rest of his Wu Tang members is in peril. Recently we have seen videos and read interviews from Ghostface in reference to his grievances about his money. Raekwon claims that all of the Wu members are unhappy with the sound of the new album (The Rza has excluded the other members’ opinions about the production of the album) AND their money. Raekwon claims the7 other members of Wu Tang will release another album on their own after this ones release, and they want this one pulled of the shelves. WOW.

Kanye Dissing Dame with “Big Brother”?

November 7, 2007

I am a fan of Dame Dash. In fact I like to model my business ferocity after his. But lately he seems to be using the recent publicity booms of Jay-Z and Kanye West to his advantage and promote his new online community

Here is what he has to say:

Jim Jones – American Gangsta (Jay-Z Diss)

November 3, 2007

The past few days have been extremely slow and I couldn’t find any new material for my “Song of the Day” installments.

[Enter Jim Jones] stage back…. way back

This is the first song I am featuring that isn’t classified as “Good”.  This is just so you can hear this also.

Jim Jones is dripping with wack juice and he can’t get it off so he better be prepared to finish what he started… again.
